The Oracle Class Of Engineering Program focuses on developing strong fundamentals in modern cloud computing, solution architecture, applications, and full-stack development. Through an intensive six-week onboarding and training program, followed by hands-on project work, you will gain the technical and business skills needed to design, demonstrate, and speak to Oracle solutions across industries in North America.

This role offers a clearly defined career path within solution engineering, with opportunities for progression based on performance, technical growth, and increasing responsibility. You will work closely with experienced solution architects, sales teams, product teams, and customers to drive adoption and customer success.

What You'll Do

As an Engineer, you will partner with customers, sales, marketing, engineering, and product teams to design and deliver Oracle solutions that address customer business needs. You will support customers across the full lifecycle, from discovery and proof of concept through production deployment and ongoing adoption.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, demonstrating, and deploying Oracle solutions that solve customer business and technical challenges

  • Supporting customers from proof of concept (POC) through production using hands-on configuration, scripting, and deployment

  • Building and delivering technical workshops, solution demonstrations, and customer trainings

  • Developing and publishing repeatable technical assets such as blogs and video demonstrations

  • Collaborating cross-functionally to improve adoption, customer success, and consumption

  • Driving reporting and insights related to customer engagements and solution outcomes

Your core responsibility is to understand customer environments and business problems, translate those needs into technical solutions, and guide customers toward successful adoption of Oracle services.

What You'll Bring

Minimum qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience with computer applications, systems, or development tools

  • Strong fundamentals in software engineering, scripting, or system design

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic and international)

  • No visa sponsorship available for this role

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related field

  • Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages (Python, Java, C#, C++, or similar)

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Familiarity with cloud-native technologies such as containers, monitoring, or streaming services

  • Interest or experience in data analytics, data science, or automation

  • Experience creating technical documentation or customer-facing technical content

Responsibilities

Responsible, with limited supervision, for providing specialist knowledge to assist in translating business needs into solutions. Implements solutions and ensures successful deployments through code development and scripting. Displays product/application understanding through standard presentation demonstrations to customers and events. Supports customer from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training. Assists in creating technical assets (white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations). Serves as a technical point of contact for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success. Builds business and technical acumen.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from $30.19 to $48.32 per hour; from: $62,800 to $100,500 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 70/30.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
