Industrial Painter
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to metal surfaces in an industrial setting. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment and tools.
- Document work completed and report any issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Experience as an industrial painter or paint prep or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.
