Material Handler Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Material Handler to join our team.

This role is crucial for maintaining the efficient flow of materials within our operations, primarily focusing on the careful loading and unloading of freight and meticulous preparation of shipments. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

• Perform general material handling duties to support daily operational needs.
• Safely and efficiently load and unload materials from flat-bed trailers, ensuring proper securing of goods.
• Accurately wrap and tarp loads to protect items from weather elements and potential damage during transport.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations and operational policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

Material Handler Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a general labor, warehouse, or material handling environment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with basic freight handling techniques, load securing, and protective wrapping.
• Hi-lo experience a plus, but not necessary.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching for extended periods.
• Capacity to work outdoors in various weather conditions when performing loading and unloading duties.
