SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
· Responsible for growing and managing the Advance Service (AS) Business area for all US and CA Customers.
· Responsible to pro-actively promote all Advanced Service (AS) Products, such as, training, consulting, service agreements, etc.
· Job included proper scheduling of required resources along with post AS service Sales activity generating Spare Parts or Retrofit business. Close cooperation with Customers, Sales, Engineering and Field Service is required
JOB SIZE / POSITION SCOPE:
The Business as of FY 2024 is around $1.5M. The Business is forecasted to grown 3.0M by 2027. Depending on the demand and growth this position may have up to 1 administrative person working on the activities in matrix (sharing resources). Additional shared resources from Engineering and Field Service will support the execution.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Maintain a list of customers, machines, service agreements, inspections, and data safe for active service agreements. Update list to with all responsible Managers/team members and 3rd parties handling remote services,
o The AS products are mainly service agreements, training, consulting, and similar/related products.
o Proactively Selling and Supporting inside sales team to sell these products is required. Visiting customer promoting the products and/or supporting the sales team. Generating Cost breakdowns and quotes based on customers requirement.
o After receiving the order, manage and/or perform the scope of work described into the order.
o This position will manage the resources from other departments (matrix mode) like Engineering and Field Service and requires good alignment with the respective department manager that are supplying the required resources.
o After Service ensuring proper/accurate reports are sent to customer in timely manner. Setting up post inspection meetings with customer via Teams or F2F to explain finding and defining next steps.
o Pro-actively following up to generate post inspection sales of either Spare Parts or Retrofit. Getting Customer feedback after service and ensuring the services are extended every year. Attending all customer complaints and finding necessary resolution.
o This business needs to be managed very closely with the Inside Sales Director to achieve the company goals for such product (order intake, sales & margin).
o Ensuring Customer is getting the required service timely, managing Internal Resources, Generating Revenue and Profit. Maintaining existing Business and Generating New business are the prime functions of this position.
o Implement various Digital Tools and use of Artificial Intelligence to promote Business and perform work more efficiently.
o Work in SAP to create order, collect and monitor of costs.
o Ensuring Invoices are raised on time and funds are received as per payment terms. Work closely with Invoice Specialist Team member.
o Functions in a team environment providing back up support and special assignments when requested by Customer Service Team Leader.
o Monitor and Maintain AS KPI’s and look for improvements.
o Traveling may be required to customers, suppliers, and Schuler affiliates.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Business mind set.
· Intrapreneur spirit.
· Technical mindset and understanding are beneficial. Engineering background is a plus
· Minimum two (3 years’ experience handling Customers in relation to equipment or machinery, or equivalent related hands-on technical experience.
· General understanding of technical documentation; drawings, schematics, BOM’s, etc.
· Familiar with ERP systems, preferably SAP
· Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
· Possess strong analytical aptitude.
· Self-motivated and results oriented.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
· Customer focused
· Strong time management and organizational skills
· Ability to multi-task and to work in dynamic business environment; Adaptable to change
· Teamwork oriented to resolve problems and achieve goals.
· Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
· Fluent in English with advanced reading and writing skills
· German and/or Portuguese Language skills would be a plus.
· Visa holders/English as Second Language (ESL) individuals must take TOEFL exam and score above passing grade.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
· This position reports to the Inside Sales Director and requires coordination of related activities with Sales, Engineering, Field Service, Schuler Group and Andritz companies.
MISCELLANEOUS
· Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.
