Position Summary

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with department supervisors and manufacturing leadership to coordinate production scheduling and material deliveries to meet customer requirements. This role ensures efficient supply chain operations through effective planning, communication, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with purchasing to request materials and monitor vendor delivery schedules
• Enter and track customer demand requirements in internal systems
• Expedite materials and finished goods through logistics channels as needed
• Monitor committed production capacities and initiate corrective actions when deviations occur
• Ensure availability and compliance of returnable packaging according to customer standards
• Maintain consistent communication with customer representatives regarding supply and delivery status
• Analyze customer demand, forecasts, and historical usage to identify trends and communicate findings to management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost-effective production planning strategies
• Support and implement best practices for inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control processes
• Coordinate production schedules by monitoring inventory levels, tracking production progress, and evaluating scheduling constraints
• Maintain and monitor customer-specific systems (e.g., supplier portals) for order releases and updates
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits as required
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements
• Comply with quality and environmental standards as defined by organizational and customer requirements

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred
