Position Summary:

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in daily operations, leading and developing crew members, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and capable of managing a fast-paced environment while motivating others.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations
• Train, coach, and supervise crew members to meet company standards
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through quality service
• Monitor food preparation and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Assist with inventory control, ordering, and managing food and labor costs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment
• Open and close the restaurant as needed
• Lead by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Requirements:

• Previous restaurant or retail supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Passion for customer service and team development
