Pay: $25 – $31/hour
Openings: 2 Positions
Schedule: 1st Shift - 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday; Overtime on Friday's
Job Description
We are seeking skilled Machine Builders / Fabricators II to join our team. This role requires experienced candidates who can independently fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical components with minimal supervision. Ideal candidates have strong welding and fabrication skills and the ability to read prints and work with complex assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and install mechanical assemblies and components
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials
- Weld and install liners, ports, motors, coils, heaters, and baffling
- Cut and install insulation and exterior panels
- Drill, assemble, and install components using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Assemble equipment and systems according to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety, quality, and production standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of MIG and TIG welding experience (required)
- Previous experience in machine building, fabrication, or industrial assembly
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient with hand and power tools (drills, grinders, wrenches, etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in custom equipment, automation, or industrial machinery
- Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent)
- Experience with electrical or mechanical assembly
