Michigan Neurosurgery Job with Inpatient Trauma and OR Coverage
Overview
A hospital in Michigan is seeking a neurosurgeon for an ongoing locums assignment. This role is 100% inpatient and includes rounding, post-op care, and mostly urgent or emergent OR cases. You will work 24-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., managing primarily adult trauma patients. The facility uses Epic EMR and requires ACLS, AHA, and BLS certifications. Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care as a neurosurgeon in a 24-hour shift setting (7 a.m. to 7 a.m.).
- Rounding and post-operative care for primarily adult trauma patients.
- Manage urgent or emergent OR cases.
- Collaborate with the hospital team and follow Epic EMR workflows.
Qualifications
- Board certification in neurosurgery.
- ACLS, AHA, and BLS certifications.
