About the Role:
The Busperson at Lakeview plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. This position involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area, which directly impacts customer satisfaction and overall restaurant efficiency. The Busperson will work closely with servers and kitchen staff to facilitate timely service and support the team in delivering exceptional hospitality. By promptly clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and assisting with various tasks, the Busperson contributes to a welcoming atmosphere. Ultimately, this role is essential in upholding the high standards of service that Lakeview is known for in the hospitality industry.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist servers by refilling drinks, delivering food, and providing any necessary support during service.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors, windows, and restrooms, to ensure a pleasant environment.
- Set up and break down dining areas for special events or large parties as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any guest needs.
Skills:
The required skills for this position include strong communication and teamwork abilities, which are essential for collaborating with servers and kitchen staff. Attention to detail is crucial as the Busperson must ensure that tables are reset properly and the dining area remains clean and inviting.
