Job Description:

As our Fabricator/Welder, your role will be pivotal in accurately interpreting work orders, maintaining welding equipment, and performing fabrication and welding on various metals. If you have a knack for following detailed technical instructions and blueprints, we would be thrilled to meet you.

• Read and apply information from work orders, specifications, blueprints, and other reports.
• Set up, operate, and take good care of our welding equipment.
• Practice safety at all times.
• Collaborate effectively within our team.
• Test and inspect your work to make sure we're maintaining our high-quality standards.
• Keep your workspace clean and safe, in line with Northern Metals, Inc. policies.

• Hands-on experience as a Welder/Fabricator.
• Proficient in various welding techniques, such as TIG, MIG, arc welding, and oxy-fuel welding.
• Comfortable using electrical and manual tools like saws, squares, calipers, etc.
• Able to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledgeable about safety standards and ready to use protective clothing.
• Welding certification or completion of a relevant apprenticeship is a plus.
• Physically capable of handling heavy machinery and materials.
• Valid drivers license without major prior offenses for the past 36 months.
