Electrical Engineer | Grand Haven, MI
Salary Range: $75,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues to minimize production downtime and improve reliability.
- Implement and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and industrial control systems.
- Manage and execute electrical projects, including upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new machinery.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E) within the facility.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production teams on electrical systems and best practices.
Recommended Qualifications
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, and motor control circuits.
- Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens).
- Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues on manufacturing equipment and production lines.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA).
- Ability to design, implement, and optimize electrical control systems for manufacturing processes.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with industrial automation platforms (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA).
- Proficiency with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols and OT cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
