  1. POSITION SUMMARY

    The Campus-Wide Supervisoris responsiblefordevelopingrelationships with youth intheresidentialand independent living programs. TheCampus Wide Supervisor must understand safety plans and major triggers for eachyouthas well aspossessstrongde-escalation techniques and coping strategiesfor youth. TheCampus WideSupervisoris required todevelop professional relationships with staff and multidisciplinary treatment teams,identifytraining needs for existing andnew staff, as well ascoach,train, andprovide clear feedback tostaff. TheCampus Wide Supervisor willcollaborate with thedivision leaders and team members oneffective implementation of treatmentplans and behavior interventions. Adequately completing documentation and reports according toDABSJpolicy andprocedures along with state and contract requirements is critical. This position will provide clear direction to staff in crisis management situations as well as reassigning staff to address dynamic staffing needs.
  1. ESSENTIALRESPONSIBILITIES
  • De-escalation andcrisis managementacross campus.
  • Primary decision maker on campus for immediate needs.
  • Ensuresall documentation and paperworkisaccurately completedaccording to policy and procedure
  • Supportand model the ongoingimplementation of Sanctuary.
  • Assure medications are accurately distributedin accordance withagency policies and procedures.
  • Model and coachtrauma responsive andstrength- basedinterventionsfor Youth Development Specialists.
  • Ensureallphysical restraints are done according toDABSJand state policies,practicesandprocedures.Must be physically present for all restrictive interventions unlessan emergency situationarose in which physical presence was not possible.
  • Attend all supervisor meetings.
  • Address allyouthgrievancesin a timely mannerinaccordance withthe requirements of licensing, PREAand contract.
  • Ability to provide program leadership within the houses regularly in the afternoons and evenings, andweekends.

  • Facilitate a culture of exceptional client care which meets or exceeds contract,licensingandaccreditation standards.
  • Report anydeviationtrends away from established policies and proceduresimmediatelytoprogram leadersto reduce critical incidents.
  • Develop andmaintaina working knowledge and understanding of all relevantcontract,accreditation, and regulatory standards andassurethe work of YDS staff meets those standards.
  • Develop andmaintaineffective working relationships with colleagues.
  • Self-starter whocanidentifychallenges and be self-directed in developing solutions.
  • Perform other Agency responsibilities asset forth inAgency personnel policies as amended.

Supervision Received: General Direction - Plans and arranges own work. Uses a wide range of procedures to accomplish assigned objectives.

  1. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree ina relevantHuman Services or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experiencechildcare institution.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the strengths, needs,challengesand resilience of youth and families.
  • Demonstrated experience or ability to work with school, court, behavioral health, and child welfare partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and thrive in a rapidly changing, fast paced, high intensity environment.
  • Experience providingquick decision making in high-stress environments.
  • Ability toworka flexible schedule according to the needs of the Agency.

  • Above averageproficiencywith Microsoft Office and electronic case management and clinical record systems.
  • Demonstrated compatibility working in an environment that demands the highest levels of collaboration, cooperation, communication, participation, trust, respect, and mutual accountability and responsiveness to leadership supervision.
