Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Canton, MI is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a K-12 setting. This position is offered on a contract basis for the full school year.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students learning needs and challenges
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to intervention planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and pliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to municate effectively with students, families, and educational teams
- Knowledge of special education laws and guidelines
