Location: Brighton, MI
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (No Saturdays)

Position SummaryWe are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Teller to join the Brighton branch team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, handling cash accurately, and working in a customer-focused environment.
Tellers are the front line—creating positive member experiences while processing transactions accurately and efficiently in both walk-in and drive-thru settings.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)- Greet customers warmly and deliver excellent service
- Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and account inquiries
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer with high accuracy
- Issue debit cards and assist with account servicing needs
- Verify deposits, cash, and coin transactions
- Rotate between lobby and drive-thru service
- Perform administrative tasks during slower periods
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all policies and regulations
- Assist other departments as needed
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries
- Participate in opening and closing procedures
This is a service-focused role. There is no active upselling—customer needs are addressed directly or referred to the appropriate department.
Required Qualifications (Must Have)- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Friendly, welcoming, customer-service–oriented personality
- Professional appearance (business casual; no jeans)
- Strong common sense and comfort working with people from all backgrounds
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Quick learner with adaptability
- Strong math skills and confidence handling and counting cash
- Retail or customer-facing experience
- Hands-on, branch-based training
- Initial days include shadowing and guided learning
- Training pace is adjusted based on individual progress
- Access to online learning tools and compliance training
- Small, team-oriented branch environment
- Mix of high-volume activity and slower periods
- Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends currently)
- One-hour lunch and one 15-minute break daily
- Business casual dress code with occasional dress-down days

This is a Permanent position based out of Brighton, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $35360.00/yr.
