Nurse Supervisor-RN

We are a vibrant senior living community seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join our team. We offer both full-time (typically Monday-Friday) and part-time (typically every other weekend) 3rd shift positions.

What You'll Do:

Monitor the plan of care for sub-acute rehabilitation clients.
Mentor and supervise sub-acute nursing staff.
Provide exceptional customer service to rehab clients, families, visitors, and employees.
Audit and monitor quality and safety measures.
Make nursing unit assignments.
Check medication carts and refrigerators.
Monitor physical assessments of high-risk clients.
Mentor nurses on best practices, CNA supervision, and communication.
Collaborate with unit managers on quality initiatives.
Conduct regular audits for compliance.
Triage client changes in condition.
Assist with admissions as needed.
Conduct physical assessments of new admissions (admissions nurse will handle medication reconciliation and orders).
Initiate IVs when indicated.
What You'll Need:

A valid, current, and unencumbered RN license for the State of Michigan.
Clinical experience as a nurse in an acute care, long-term care, assisted living, or related healthcare setting.
Excellent clinical assessment skills.
Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and be available for on-call and extended/flexible hours as needed.
Ability to make independent decisions within your scope of practice.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a multifaceted role.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
