Platform Product Manager - Vehicle Programs
Job Description
The Platform Product Manager - Vehicle Programs will lead end-to-end launch readiness and connected-vehicle enablement for new vehicle programs. This role is critical in ensuring vehicles are properly configured, validated, and fully connected from day one to support connected services, over-the-air updates, digital feature activation, and long-term lifecycle performance.
This position requires a strong product mindset, a deep understanding of vehicle systems, and the ability to work cross-functionally across software, hardware, cloud, and manufacturing ecosystems. The Product Manager will translate complex technical workflows into clear product requirements and execution plans while ensuring successful, scalable vehicle launches.
Compensation:
$32/hr to $36/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Strong product mindset with the ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts

Proven experience as a Product Manager in a technology-driven environment, likely working within an Agile framework

Understanding of vehicle onboard systems and how vehicles are configured, validated, and enabled for connected services

Ability to support AWS command workflows and understand how mode commands are processed and integrated into cloud environments

Strong understanding of how APIs connect into cloud architectures

Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and digital product teams

Ability to manage complex dependencies across software, hardware, cloud, and vehicle ecosystems - Experience with connected-vehicle platforms, telematics, IoT, or service delivery platforms

Exposure to remote operations, OTA updates, and digital feature activation

Experience supporting vehicle launch readiness, production validation, or manufacturing environments

Ability to translate connectivity and telemetry data into actionable product improvements

Familiarity with security, compliance, and quality considerations within connected systems

Strong stakeholder management skills with experience communicating to senior leadership
