Field Service Technician

Bemana is seeking a Field Service Technician with either an HVAC or Diesel Engine background to join the team of a nationwide equipment rental company. In this role, you’ll perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of rental equipment, including HVAC systems (air conditioners, heaters, chillers, dehumidifiers) as well as power generation equipment. We’re looking for a hands-on technician with strong troubleshooting skills who is comfortable working independently in the field and ensuring customers’ equipment runs reliably and safely.

Position Offers:

• Up to $45/hr depending on experience + overtime opportunities. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions

Job Duties:

• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools
• Responsible for service documentation
• Occasional travel to customer sites
• Demonstrate equipment for customers
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
• Other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience with repairing and maintaining HVAC or Diesel Engine equipment
• Intermediate diagnostic and repair skills for mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic and other systems
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Own the tools applicable to position
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
