Salary Range: $46,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Conduct various quality tests using precision measuring instruments and equipment, accurately documenting all results.
• Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective action processes.
• Maintain and update quality records, inspection logs, and test data in compliance with company procedures.
• Assist in the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Verify the calibration status and proper functioning of inspection, measuring, and test equipment (M&TE).
• Collaborate with production personnel to ensure understanding and adherence to quality procedures and standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or assurance role.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and basic statistical process control (SPC).

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) or advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Previous experience participating in internal or external quality audits.
• Calibration experience for measurement tools and equipment.
