• $80,000–$120,000+ annual earnings (base + bonuses) with clear paths to exceed the $120,000 earnings early on in your career based on performance. We expect our attorneys to earn in excess of $100,000 in their second year with the firm, even when they are recent law school graduates.

• After training, q uarterly bonuses and profit sharing are directly tied to the collections of your fees.

$80,000 - $120,000

What You’ll Do

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, parenting time, support, post-judgment issues, grandparenting rights, and appellate work.
• Handle your own full caseload and manage client relationships with empathy and strategy.
• Appear regularly in court; attend mediations and depositions, and take ownership of litigation from day one (with mentorship and support as needed).
• We take cases to trial, and you should be willing to do so.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and legal arguments at a high level.
• Some of our attorneys handle appellate work, and we have an option for a position to grow into a full-time appellate position.

Expectations & Requirements

• Minimum: 110 billable hours per month (1,300–1,400 annually) with bonus tiers for performance. If you want to earn more and work more, that's an option.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in family law litigation.

• A licensed Michigan attorney.
• A strong writer and persuasive speaker with excellent communication skills.
• Goal-oriented with the grit to advocate for clients during court hearings and negotiations. You must exhibit tenacity to engage in Bold Battles.
• Empathy to help clients through difficult times, but also be able and willing to share Blunt Truths with clients.
