Physician Interventional Cardiology

**JOB DETAILS:**

We need a doctor for hospital shifts, available 24 hours a day, including weekends. The doctor must be in the hospital to help with emergencies and patient care during these shifts.

**Responsibilities include:**

- Performing heart-related procedures in emergencies, like cardiac catheterizations

.-Taking care of heart patients who may come through the emergency department, need help in the hospital, or require follow-up visits.

- Rounding on patients in the hospital every day during the shift, ensuring they get proper care and follow-up.

- Working with an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), who will assist with patient care. The locum doctor will support and guide the APP as needed.

You will have access to many services in the hospital, including: -

A Cath Lab for heart tests and procedures

- Radiology, CT, X-ray, and laboratory services available 24/7

- Hospitalist teams for patient admissions and shared care

You will need to document patient care using the Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, which is used for both inpatients and outpatients. You will also work with other hospital staff, such as hospitalists and anesthesiologists, especially during emergencies. It's important to communicate with other facilities when patients need to be transferred.

**Qualifications:**

- Must be Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology

– REQUIRED - Must have a current license to practice in Michigan

– REQUIRED - Must live in Michigan or nearby

– REQUIRED - Must have a clean background for quick approval

– REQUIRED, no exceptions - Please share your availability for the listed dates

– REQUIRED - Verbal confirmation of DEA

– REQUIRED - Must be clear – REQUIRED

**Certification Requirements:**

- Must be Board Certified

**State License Requirements:**

- Must have a license in Michigan.
