Fleet Diesel Mechanic B
Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic B to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment at our facility shop in Lake Orion, MI.
Shift: Full-Time l Monday-Friday 1:00PM-9:30PM
Pay : $24.00-$28.00/HR based on experience and qualifications
Additional $1.00 per hour with action CDL A or B license with CDL Incentive Pay

Position Responsibilities:
- The Fleet Technician focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed
- As the Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance
- You will inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registration
- You will use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery
- You will examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience
- Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
- Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
