Job Description

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is currently seeking qualified Welders for a unique project involving dome installation work. This is a hands-on role requiring both welding and general construction support.

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 - $31.50 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:

• Welding and assisting in the assembly of structural trusses
• Moving and positioning trusses as part of the installation team
• Using basic hand and power tools to support construction tasks
• Working on or around scaffolding towers and elevated platforms
• Assisting with site cleanup and material handling
• Supporting overall dome structure assembly alongside construction laborers

Qualifications:

• Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) or Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW / Stick Welding)
• Experience Candidates must be comfortable working in elevated areas
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
