Salary Range: $116,000 - $165,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes, equipment, and product designs to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, R&D, and supply chain teams to integrate engineering solutions.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies and technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure all engineering designs, processes, and equipment comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Manage departmental resources, including budget allocation, equipment, and software, to optimize engineering capabilities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading and developing engineering teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical background in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) with direct manufacturing process experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, including budget, scope, and timeline oversight for engineering initiatives.
• Experience implementing and optimizing lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and quality systems.
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems, develop innovative solutions, and drive their implementation to improve operational efficiency and product quality.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with ERP, MES, or PLM systems.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an MBA.
• Proven experience in implementing or managing automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
