Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for raw materials, components, and MRO items.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and compliance to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with production and planning to optimize inventory levels and ensure material availability.
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising product quality or production schedules.
• Monitor market trends, evaluate new suppliers, and assess supply chain risks.
• Lead and mentor the purchasing team, fostering professional development and high performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in vendor negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship development.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and cost reduction strategies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced ERP modules (e.g., SAP MM, Oracle SCM) or system implementation projects.
• Proven international sourcing experience, including familiarity with global logistics and customs regulations.
• Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for spend analysis.
