Cardiovascular Technologist – Travel assignment in Lansing, Michigan. Responsibilities
- Assist with, and when appropriate perform, interventional cardiovascular procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angiography, peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement, venography, and pacemaker insertions.
- Support a variety of non-vascular interventional procedures while maintaining sterile technique and procedural readiness.
- Prepare the lab, equipment, and supplies; monitor patient status during procedures; document findings and ensure accurate record keeping.
- Assist interventional cardiology team during procedures, monitor hemodynamics, manage contrast administration per protocol, and support post-procedure care and patient recovery.
- Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines; coordinate with nursing, anesthesia, and imaging staff as needed.
- Participate in on-call coverage as required, with weekend on-call shifts described in the assignment details.

Requirements
- Cath lab experience: 2 years in cardiology or interventional settings required
- Cardiac experience: preferred
- IR experience: preferred
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS (RCIS preferred; ARRT accepted)
- Credentials: active RCIS or ARRT certification (or eligible) as applicable to the interventional lab role
- Ability to work in a cardiovascular interventional laboratory environment
- Education: not specified in the notes; focus on required clinical experience and certifications
