Project Manager - ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED
Macomb, MI
A leading organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex capital equipment, tooling, automation, and assembly system projects. This individual will have full P&L ownership and be responsible for managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously from kickoff through completion.
Responsibilities:
- Own project performance, budget, profitability, and schedule execution
- Maintain full P&L responsibility for assigned projects
- Manage multiple large, high-value projects concurrently
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules using Microsoft Project
- Lead cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maximizing opportunities
- Manage customer communications, project changes, and contract compliance
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer specifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction Management, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience
- Proven experience managing multiple complex manufacturing, automation, aerospace, or defense projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated experience with full project financial ownership, including budgets, forecasting, profitability, and cost control
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to read blueprints/CAD models and understand GD&T principles
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer management skills
- U.S. Person status required
- Active Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification
