Eagle Tavern Host/ess, Greenfield Village 2026 (part time)

We are currently seeking friendly team-oriented staff to work in an authentic 1850 era tavern. As a Host at the Eagle Tavern in Greenfield Village, you are the first impression and set the stage for an incredible guest experience. The Eagle Tavern was the first building acquired in Greenfield Village in 1929. Help us engage and inspire every person who walks through the doors of this historic artifact.
Essential Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat all guests in a prompt and courteous manner
- Responsible for care and maintenance of historic clothing uniform
- Provide our guests with an historically accurate portrayal of a dining experience
- As part of the Eagle Tavern and Food Services teams, support colleagues and manage the overall flow of guests
- Possesses knowledge of all menu descriptions and can effectively communicate it with guests (including special dietary concerns such as vegan options)
- Ensure cleanliness of work area
- Have fun!
Your Qualifications
- 16 years or older
Special Skills & Important Information
- Must be able to work weekends
- This is a physical position that requires frequent standing and walking
- Capable of prioritization and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiasm and strong communication skills
