Gain Hands-On Experience in ABA & Residential Care
We are seeking an ABA Intern to support our clinical team within a residential program serving teens diagnosed with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience applying Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles in a real-world setting. You’ll work alongside BCBA clinicians and a multidisciplinary team—learning how to support behavior plans, collect data, and contribute to a structured, therapeutic environment.
This internship is ideal for students interested in behavioral health , psychology , or pursuing a career in ABA or clinical services .
Schedule & Compensation
12–18 hours per week (flexible based on academic schedule)
- Paid internship: $14.00/hour
What You’ll Learn & Do
With support from BCBA clinicians, you will:
- Observe and assist with implementation of ABA interventions and behavior support plans
- Support data collection, documentation, and basic analysis of client behaviors
- Participate in team meetings and learn how treatment decisions are made
- Assist in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment for residents
- Contribute to the development and adjustment of individualized behavior plans
- Learn ABA principles, ethics, and best practices through hands-on experience and training
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment grounded in the Sanctuary Model® (safety, emotional intelligence, open communication, and social learning)
- Support basic administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate and confidential records
Background & Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Psychology, Human Services, Sociology, or a related field
- Strong interest in working with individuals with Autism or developmental disabilities
- Ability to stay organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn as part of a team
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice
- Ability to maintain consistent, reliable attendance and adhere to scheduled hours
