Manufacturing Supervisor – Injection Molding

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production activities on an assigned shift to ensure customer requirements are met through the timely production of quality parts. This role provides leadership to manufacturing associates, promotes a safe work environment, and ensures adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all manufacturing personnel on the assigned shift
• Execute production schedules and adjust as needed to meet delivery and quality requirements
• Train associates on proper operation, care, and basic troubleshooting of machinery and equipment
• Monitor production performance, report variances, and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure accurate reporting of production data, quality records, and control documentation
• Approve employee timecards, attendance, and PTO for assigned shift personnel
• Report accidents, safety incidents, tardiness, and absenteeism per company procedures
• Identify and report machine, mold, or process issues and coordinate corrective action
• Maintain responsibility for the quality of all parts produced on the assigned shift
• Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready manufacturing environment
• Ensure compliance with ISO Quality and Environmental policies and procedures
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Must be flexible to work any shift as required

Secondary Responsibilities

• Assist with mold changes and material handling
• Support Shipping and Receiving activities as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Setup Technician or Process Technician
• Injection molding experience required
• Proven ability to lead, train, and work effectively with production teams
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing environment
• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and reaching
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
