About the Role:

Responsible for the safe, quality conscious operation during set up of molding machines using established procedures and in cooperation with Supervision to ensure all presses are running efficiently, meeting all goals (i.e., scrap, efficiency). Responsible for molding product to established standards and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Plastic injection molding experience.
• Resin Handler experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Crane experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
• Ability to read, understand and follow daily production schedule.
• Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
• Must be capable to be trained on all presses/Molds in assigned area.
• Able to interpret ODS instructions, pack qualities, etc.
• Apply force of 75lbs or greater for clamping tools in machines, and frequently lift weight over 50lbs.
• Ability to bend and stoop for the above time.
• Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and heavy equipment.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions of heat (90-115 degrees).
• Able to work the hours, including overtime, required for the position.

Responsibilities:

• Complete tool changes on injection molding machines per SOP and schedule.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform machine, and tool PMs.
• Complete weekly preventive maintenance on machines and tools.
• Set up press-side assembly machines as needed.
• Maintain a clean (5s) and safe work area.
• Provide accurate information on productivity, quality, and safety to their supervisor.
• Timely and accurate completion of required paperwork.
• Follow organization standards.

2:40 pm - 11:00 p.m.

Overtime before or after shift as needed.

2nd Shift premium is $.45 per hour
