Business Solutions Analyst
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder engagement (interviews, surveys, workshops) and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement; model current and future workflows using process mapping tools.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and develop specifications, diagrams, and models to guide solution design.
- Act as liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring mutual understanding and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to design solutions that meet business goals and technical standards.
- Develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) plans; validate solutions against requirements and coordinate issue resolution.
- Support implementation of new systems or processes, including user training and creation of documentation such as manuals and guides.
- Monitor project progress, manage requirements throughout the lifecycle, and communicate updates to stakeholders and project managers.
- Gather feedback post-implementation to measure outcomes and recommend process or system enhancements.
- Research and recommend tools, methods, and best practices to improve requirements gathering, documentation, and solution delivery.
- Provide guidance to team members and perform other related duties as assigned.
- Serve as the project manager for initiatives when a dedicated project manager is not assigned, overseeing project planning, coordination, and execution.
