About the opportunity
START is growing and seeking experienced Bench Hands and Moldmakers to join our toolroom. We have both day and night roles, offer a night shift premium, weekend shift premiums, flexible scheduling, and overtime opportunities.
A day in this roleYou move from bench to crane with confidence—polishing machined and EDM’d details to a mirror finish, mastering lifters, slides, and inserts, and precisely fitting components so everything seats right the first time. Your independence and craftsmanship keep complex builds on schedule.
Core work you’ll handle- Polish machined & EDM'd structure ribs to spec.
- Bench/master lifters, slides, and inserts.
- Spot/fit lifters, slides, and inserts into pockets.
- Spot/fit TH block to BH block with tight precision.
- At least 2–3 years of benching experience in a moldmaking/toolroom setting.
- Ability to work independently as a proactive self-starter.
- Hands-on experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Day and night positions available.
- Night shift premium and weekend shift premiums.
