Key Responsibilities

• Analyze production costs, variances (material, labor, overhead), and their impact on profitability.
• Develop and monitor annual operating budgets and financial forecasts for manufacturing operations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and KPI analysis for management on manufacturing performance.
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests, performing ROI and payback period analysis for new equipment and projects.
• Conduct in-depth profitability analysis by product line, customer, and manufacturing process.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements within manufacturing processes.
• Support inventory valuation and analysis, including obsolescence and turns, to optimize working capital.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights for operational improvement.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, strategic planning, and performance reporting within a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Demonstrated understanding of supply chain finance principles.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
