Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available in Howell, MI, for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role involves working with students with diverse learning needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure inclusive learning experiences.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation consistent with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for K-12.
• Experience working with students who have a range of disabilities in school settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of current best practices in special education and related instructional technologies.
