• Location: Saginaw, MI 48607 (Great Lakes Bay region) — Michigan nursing jobs / Saginaw healthcare jobs
• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Cardiac Step-Down / Telemetry RN
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,860 - $1,960
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:15 AM) — Night shift RN
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Openings: 5 Travel RN positions available
• Schedule: Every other weekend/holiday; No on-call

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent RN experience in PCU, Cardiac Step-Down, or Telemetry (required)
• Active Michigan RN license (LARA and/or Nursys verification required)
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Telemetry skills checklist current within 1 year (required)
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last 2 years (required)
• Recent traveler experience highly preferred (Travel RN experience)
• Local candidates considered (50-mile radius restriction applies for only one 13-week contract)
• All scheduling requests must be submitted with your application

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients for physical, emotional, psychosocial, and family support needs in a PCU/Cardiac Step-Down setting
• Organize and coordinate total patient care based on clinical assessment and individualized care plans
• Monitor cardiac telemetry, recognize dysrhythmias, and initiate interventions per protocol
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust nursing care to meet established goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to implement and coordinate care
• Provide patient and family education, participate in discharge planning, and support transitions of care
