Accounting Senior - REMOTE

In this role, you will be responsible for managing revenue recognition and daily billing operations, collaborating across departments including Receivables, Sales Operations, Legal, and Finance. Your contributions will drive essential change and automation initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and financial reporting. This is a unique opportunity to make significant impacts, particularly emphasizing P&L experience during Merger & Acquisition activities. The role requires remote work flexibility within a structured schedule.

Accountabilities

• Lead and support the month‑end and quarter‑end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and record revenue‑related journal entries based on detailed analysis of underlying transactions.
• Reconcile sub‑ledger activity to general ledger balances and resolve variances.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analyze income statement variances.
• Partner with auditors to support compliance and ensure reporting standards are met.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to support financial reporting and operational initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3–6 years of progressively responsible accounting or billing operations experience.
• Public accounting and/or U.S. technical accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting processes.
• Highly analytical with problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience with ERP systems and CRM platforms a plus.
