General Laborer (Heavy Equipment Experience Preferred)

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking General Laborer with heavy equipment experience to join our growing excavation and sitework team. This role supports a variety of projects including site prep, grading, septic systems, and general earthwork.

This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up ready to get the job done, and can operate or assist with heavy machinery when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, grading, and excavation work
• Operate or assist in operating heavy equipment (skid steer, excavator, dozer, etc.)
• Perform general labor tasks such as shoveling, trenching, and material handling
• Support septic system installs and drainage work
• Load/unload materials and maintain job site cleanliness
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
• Work closely with operators, foremen, and crew members

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction, excavation, or sitework preferred
• Experience operating heavy equipment (skid steer, excavator, etc.) strongly preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is preferred but the ability to obtain it is a requirement.
• • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with financial assistance through employer-sponsored training. (Requires a commitment to remain employed for a set length of time frame with sponsor/employer)
  • Strong work ethic and reliability (show up on time, every time)
• Ability to work as part of a team
