Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design and procure manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment to support production needs.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing requirements and ensuring smooth transition from design to production.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues, implement corrective actions, and preventative measures.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow charts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and enhance product manufacturability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing fixtures, tooling, and process layouts.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Experience with process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and production line balancing.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Experience with advanced manufacturing simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
• Proficiency in programming for automation or data analysis (e.g., Python, SQL)
• PMP certification or demonstrated experience leading cross-functional manufacturing projects
