Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex automation system failures to minimize production downtime.
• Develop and optimize robotic and automated material handling solutions.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify and implement process improvements through automation.
• Ensure all automation systems comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel on automation equipment.
• Manage automation projects from conception through commissioning, including budget and timeline adherence.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Allen-Bradley), HMI/SCADA development, and industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
• Hands-on experience with the design, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing systems, including robotics and vision systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex automation issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and best practices for automation system implementation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Sick) for quality inspection or guidance.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD Electrical) for system design and layout.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP integration with automation layers.
• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
