Elwood Staffing is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for a company in Jackson, MI. This position is on 1st shift with a starting pay rate of $18/hr.

CNC Opeator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

• Operate CNC & grinding machines safely and efficiently to meet production & quality goals.
• Accurately & legibly record production, downtime and scrap on daily production report.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines.
• Inspect parts and record data as required to ensure quality conformance.
• Report to Supervisor keeping updated on production activities and progress.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment Proper handling of non-conforming parts.

CNC Opeator Qualifications:

• Some experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Prior quality inspections with various gages experience preferred.
• Strong math skills necessary.
• Ability to follow job specific instructions, both written and verbal.
• Great attention to detail. Steel Toes Required.
