Irrigation Technician

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators when necessary
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs
• Adjust sprinkler heads and valves to ensure even coverage and optimal water distribution across lawns and landscaped areas
• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, pruning, and general landscaping duties
• Operate construction equipment safely to assist with system installation or upgrades in larger projects
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions seamlessly into overall site care plans
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, system layouts, repairs, and parts used for future reference

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems or related landscaping equipment
• Familiarity with irrigation principles, lawn care practices, landscape maintenance, and horticulture fundamentals
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery such as excavators safely and effectively
• Strong understanding of landscaping techniques and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of land surveying or construction practices is a plus but not required
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting system issues
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate company vehicles or equipment as needed
