PORTER / DISHWASHER
Our Porter/Dishwasher Team is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and flow of the kitchen and service areas. This role is critical to the success of the operation, ensuring that all equipment, dishes, and workspaces meet Townhouse - Birmingham’s standards for safety, sanitation, and efficiency. Job Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain the dishwashing station, including machines, sinks, and sanitation systems.
Wash and properly store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
Ensure all kitchen and service equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen, storage, and trash areas.
Remove garbage and recycling regularly and maintain cleanliness of waste areas.
Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries as needed.
Support kitchen staff with basic prep tasks when required.
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and communicate needs to management.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
Maintain floors, walls, and work surfaces to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in maintaining overall flow and efficiency of the kitchen.
Work collaboratively with BOH and FOH team members.
Other duties will be assigned as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($15.00–$18.00, based on experience)
