Salary Range: $65,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train a team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians.
• Oversee all incoming, in-process, and final product quality inspections and testing.
• Investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate quality records, documentation, and prepare performance reports.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage the calibration and maintenance schedule for all quality control equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and core quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop a team of quality technicians or inspectors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt or ASQ CQM/OE certification.
• Experience with specific industry regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in QMS software (e.g., MasterControl) or ERP quality modules (e.g., SAP QM).
• Demonstrated application of Lean manufacturing principles.
