• Develop and implement instructional plans that align with district curriculum standards.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students in meaningful educational activities.
• Continuously assess student outcomes through informal and formative assessments.
• Maintain effective communication and interaction with students, parents, staff, and the community.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and strengthen community relations.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and the integration of technology in the classroom.
• Participate in district-wide professional development initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the position.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Current Michigan certification (DA, DX, or DI) appropriate for the subject area.
• Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of the academic, social, and emotional needs of middle school students.

Position: Science Teacher

Compensation: Up to $50 per hour
