Physician Assistant (Associate) - Clinical Research

Revival Research Institute, LLC
Southfield, MI

Unique opportunity to make an Impact in the healthcare industry…

Revival Research Institute, LLC was established in 2015, and headquartered in the Metro Detroit Region, and has been growing ever since. Revival now has a national presence in the Metro-Detroit Region, Texas, Illinois, and Nebraska. We have been nationally acknowledged for our diligence to provide the highest quality of data for our clinical research trials.

As Revival Research Institute is growing, we are looking to add more qualified professionals to our team, who are looking for an opportunity to grow and learn with us. We are seeking a Physician Assistant (Associate) to join our established team. Someone with a strong interest in the Clinical Research field would be an excellent fit for our position.
The Physician Assistant – Clinical Research Sub-Investigator supports the safe, compliant, and efficient conduct of clinical trials under the oversight of the Principal Investigator. The role combines advanced clinical assessment with protocol execution, participant safety surveillance, source documentation, and cross-functional coordination. The PA serves as a medically qualified member of the investigator team and helps ensure that study-related medical care and decisions are timely, appropriately documented, and consistent with the protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), applicable regulations, the IRB-approved plan, sponsor requirements, and organizational procedures.

This role does not replace the PI and does not independently assume responsibilities reserved to the PI, the sponsor, the IRB, or another licensed professional. Authority is study-specific and begins only after required credentialing, training, sponsor acceptance where applicable, and documentation on the delegation-of-authority log.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; master’s degree or higher preferred/required in accordance with applicable licensure standards.
Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in each state where assigned clinical services will be performed.
Current NCCPA certification, if required by state law or organizational policy.
Current Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification required when appropriate to the study population, procedures, or site emergency plan.
DEA registration and state controlled-substance authorization when required for assigned prescribing or study responsibilities.
At least two years of direct patient-care experience preferred; experience in the site’s therapeutic areas strongly preferred.
Clinical research experience preferred. Candidates without prior research experience must demonstrate the ability to complete structured research, GCP, protocol, and system training before independent task assignment.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate clinical information, recognize safety concerns, document sound clinical reasoning, and escalate appropriately.
Proficiency with electronic medical records and ability to learn CTMS, eSource, EDC, safety, laboratory, and sponsor systems.
Ability to communicate clearly with participants, investigators, staff, sponsors/CROs, and healthcare providers.
