Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal EHS regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Lead incident investigations for accidents, injuries, and near misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Manage hazardous waste, air emissions, wastewater, and other environmental compliance programs.
• Oversee the EHS management system, including documentation, record-keeping, and performance metrics.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related scientific or technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory or management roles.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive EHS programs (e.g., LOTO, confined space, hazard communication, waste management).
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead incident investigations, conduct risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with EHS management software (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex, SAP EHS)
• Experience with OSHA Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP)
• Fluency in a second language, particularly Spanish
