About The Role

As a Zero Waste Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for the preparation, evaluation, and presentation of research results for projects overseen by the team. This role is supporting a key client account to deliver impactful sustainability programs. The role will have regional engagements with internal and external customers and work with cross-functional teams in Facility Operations, Program and Project Management, Finance, and Change Management.

This job is part of the Program Management function. They are responsible for the creation and delivery of strategic programs representing major company initiatives.

This is a remote role but must reside driving distance to Cheyenne, WY, Des Moines, IA, Quincy, WA, Seattle, WA, Spokane, WA, Tacoma, WA or Sacramento, CA.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage program data collection and prepare routine Zero Waste reports.
  • Use aggregate data from multiple sources to create a complete evaluation and improvement.
  • Learn key systems and processes including providing knowledge transfer to teams.
  • Collaborate with personnel from other departments to assist with project implementation and process improvements.
  • Collect project timeline based on info and input from other team members and update to find schedule slippage or other program-related issues.
  • Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the quality of own work.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
  • Support Zero Waste initiatives during new country and site onboarding.
  • Provide regional support for program budget preparation and tracking.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive outlook.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The compensation range is about $70,000 to $80,000 annual base salary based on experience. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
