Legal Assistant wanted with 2 to 5 years of legal experience for a Plaintiff personal injury law firm located in Birmingham, MI. Candidate must be highly organized, self-motivated, detail oriented, able to prioritize tasks, maintain deadlines and be a team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling court hearings, depositions, arbitrations & facilitations, etc.
• Drafting and reviewing of pleadings
• Submitting and managing of all e-filings
• Manage all incoming and out going discovery
• Contact with clients, courts and attorneys
• Track and maintain deadlines

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an assistant or other legal field
• Familiarity with civil pleadings
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
