Steenson Enterprises is a highly diversified, premier tool-and-die shop specializing in advanced mold tooling solutions for various high-growth industries. We partner with leaders in the Automotive, D.O.D., Firearms, and Consumer Products markets. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist & Programmer to join our fast-paced manufacturing team.

Primary Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery to support our diverse mold-building operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Programming CNC mills and lathes efficiently using Cimatron and MasterCam software.
• Interpreting complex technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code to ensure precise component manufacturing.
• Setting up machines, loading tools, and performing necessary offsets and adjustments.
• Executing finish machining to extremely tight tolerances in a fast-paced mold shop environment .
• Utilizing precision hand tools and metrology equipment to conduct thorough in-process and final inspections.
• Maintaining a high standard of quality while managing multiple projects across varying mold types.

What We Build

As a highly diversified shop, the successful candidate will gain exposure to and expertise in manufacturing several types of specialty molds, including:

• Low Pressure Injection Molds for Investment Castings
• Plastic Injection Molds ( Prototype, Production, and Dunnage )
• Metal Injection Molds ( MIM )
• RIM Molds for Foam Tooling

Essential Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist and/or CNC Programmer in a high-tolerance, fast-paced mold build shop environment.
• Proficiency with Cimatron and/or MasterCam programming software a plus.
• Proven experience in a dedicated Mold Shop environment is required.
• Demonstrated ability to use a full range of precision measuring and inspection hand tools.
• Strong technical aptitude for reading and interpreting complex engineering documentation.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain exceptional quality standards.
