Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative roles within the plant.
• Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company regulations specific to a manufacturing environment.
• Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling for the plant workforce.
• Coordinate and track mandatory safety training programs and support plant safety initiatives to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support performance management processes, including performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans for manufacturing employees.
• Process payroll inputs, administer benefits, and manage leave of absence requests (e.g., FMLA, STD) for the factory staff.
• Maintain accurate HR records and utilize HRIS for reporting and data management specific to plant operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Generalist within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms and core HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish)
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance specific to manufacturing operations
